Disney Cruise Line Discontinuing Mickey Mail Service

The Disney Cruise Line Blog is reporting Disney Cruise Lines will be ending their popular, but unadvertised, Mickey Mail service starting next week with a rolling end date across the fleet. Basically, you could take almost any item and markers to Guest Services and ask for a specific character’s autograph during sailings and the item would magically appear on the last night the cruise signed with the turn down service. No reason has been given for the ending of the service.

Make The Jump To Light Speed On The Disney Dream

Landing this year on the Disney Dream during it’s stay in dry dock, October 4-24, will be a new Star Wars Millinium Falcon play area. Geared for Children ages 3-12, the area will have themed crafts, games, and activities including a big screen showing Star Wars Rebels as well as gaming stations sporting games based off the series. This will be the first permanent home at sea for the franchise and will also include a modified version of the Jedi Training Academy from Star Wars Weekends and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As well as several other upgrades.

Star Wars Day at Sea Coming 2016

Disney Cruise Line will be adding Star Wars Day at Sea to 8 sailings of the Disney Fantasy in early 2016 in the Caribbean. Expect a full day of fun including met and greets, special food and drinks, special merchandise, a deck party, themed youth activities. Also included will be screenings of the Star Wars films and Star Wars Rebels. The dates will be on January 9 and 23, February 6 and 20, March 5 and 19, and April 2 and 16. Specific event details to be announced.
