…You got serious thrill issues dude. Awesome.
Over in Tomorrowland, at the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co. near Space Mountain is a new station to customize retail MagicBands on Demand. Working similar to the D-Tech on Demand over at Disney Springs, the kiosk allows guests to choose from about 40 different artworks for their MagicBand and allows them to personalize them with their name printed on the band (the outside). The cost is $21.95 for a printed band and $29.95 for a personalized one. Some of the artwork is specifically for the Magic Kingdom and wont be found elsewhere. I’d say if it does well the plan will be to open more of them at the other parks each having special designs found only at that park. The kiosk also lets you make a D-Tech Phone Case on Demand.
Wanting to watch The Force Awakens at home and save a few bucks? Well if you live in Canada, you’ll be able to watch it on Netflix about 8 months after it’s release and leaves the theaters. Disney’s deal with Netflix for Canada includes it’s 2015 movies, however, those of us in the USA are not covered by the deal til 2016 so we wont be getting to watch it that way, Starz has the Pay-TV rights for Disney movies thru the end of the year in the USA so that will be where it will land first here.
Hello one and all! I know I’ve not posted anything for several days but I was off visiting the land of the Mouse. While I was at Animal Kingdom I got a peek at the construction going on for the “Rivers of Light” show being built between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest. But to me, what I found out riding the Kilimanjaro Safari’s was even more exciting. They are finishing up a new area on the safari for a a brand new animal. According to the driver it will be joining the Safari in the relatively near future. The new animal will be Hyenas. They be out in the part of the safari where the giraffes wander, though in their own area like they do with the lions.
