Hold on to your hats, this weeks attraction will take you 0 to 57 mph in 2.8 seconds. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith (usually shortened to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster) opened in Hollywood Stuios on July 29,1999, and on March 16, 2002, at Walt Disney World Studios Park over in Disneyland Paris. The Coaster is the second-fastest attraction at Walt Disney World, bested only by Test Track, and is the fastest over at Disneyland Paris. It’s currently the most extreme of the Disney coasters featuring a 4.5 G (ge-force) loop that is actually beyond what an astronaut feels during a space shuttle launch. This coaster is fun, surrounding you with Aerosmith beats (different for each train) the entire ride.

Downtown Disney Officially Becomes Disney Springs Tuesday

Starting this coming Tuesday, Disney Springs will be the official name for Downtown Disney. The change has been coming for a while as new stores and restaurants have being added, parking being upgraded, and more with the entire project to be completed next year. Signage has been popping up to reflect the new name and Disney will have a ceremony Tuesday to celebrate the event, that also coincides with the grand opening day for Morimoto Asia, one of the new restaurants. The ceremony will take place next to the Hanger Bar at Waterview Park at 5 PM. Granted I’m sure people will still be refering to it as Doswntown Disney for years to come, after all, many still refer to Hollywood Studios as MGM Studios.

Couple Jumps Into The Moat At Hong Kong DisneyLand

Cast Members had to go fish a couple out of the moat around Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in Hong Kong Disneyland over the weekend. The couple believed to be from China got into a loud arguament on the drawbridge, that finally escalated into the woman jumping into the moat. The arguement continued with the man seeming to trying to get her to get out of the moat and come back. When that proved futile, the man jumped in after her to try to pull her out of the waist deep water. When that didn’t seem to be getting anywhere, Cast Members waded in to retrieve them. Though often considered to be the happiest places on the planet, people do get into arguements at Disney, but it’s still unclear why the woman decided to jump into the moat. No one was injured.
