Disneyland Announces 60th Anniversary Celebration

Starting May 22, Disneyland will be kicking off their 60th Anniversary Celebration with a new parade called Paint the Night, new fireworks show called Disneyland Forever, and new version of The World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney.

Head over to Disney’s California Adventure and check out the new World of Color show hosted by Mickey himself as you celebrate Walt Disney and his dream of Disneyland. Witness it all animated imagery, live-action footage, lasers, special effects, and a string musical score.

Over at Disneyland, you can experience the new parade will march down Main Street with over 1.5 million LED lights using state of the art effects, new music, and vibrant costumes. Mickey harnesses Tink’s pixie dust to bring his dreams to life taking you thru the world of Monster’s Inc., Cars, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Toy Story, and more.

Also over at Disneyland you can witness the new fireworks spectacular “Disneyland Forever”. This show will be impressive and probably one of the biggest if not the biggest Disney has ever done. You’ll have fireworks, projections down Main Street, the Matterhorn, Rivers of America, It’s a Small World, and more. There will be new music, some of which written by Disney legend Richard Sherman. From the sounds of it, almost the entire park will be included in this show.
