Prices for Memory Maker increased this morning bringing the pre-trip advance price from $149 to $169 and the same-day from $169 to $199. This can be bought when as an add on option when booking your stay or once at Walt Disney World.
What Memory Maker is, is the right to download Digitial copies of yuor vacation photos taken by PhotoPass photographers and attraction photos (from select attractions though that’s actually quite a few of them these days).
These can be downloaded via My Disney Experience from either the browser (individually or as a zip file) or from the My Disney Experience App (inidividually).
This change puts it closer to it’s predecessor PhotoPass+ which had a digital download or cd option that has since been eliminated. Overall in my opinion this can still be worth the money if you plan to get several photos, just run the math of approx $15 per photo and see which gives you the most bang for your buck. Also if you do get it, take the time and scan the attraction PhotoPass readers and take a few extra regular PhotoPass photos. They can turn out to be some amazing memories.
