Landing this year on the Disney Dream during it's stay in dry dock, October 4-24, will be a new Star Wars Millinium Falcon play area. Geared for Children ages 3-12, the area will have themed crafts, games, and activities including a big screen showing Star Wars: Rebels as well as gaming stations sporting games based off the series. This will be the first permanent home at sea for the franchise and will also include a modified version of the Jedi Training Academy from Star Wars Weekends and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Also coming to the Dream will be a Disney Infinity Toy Box play area hosting every available character (currently 59 of them), exclusive content for passengers that can be used at home later, and a life size Infinity base to provide interactive activities.
These areas will be replacing the Monsters Academy and Disney Explorer Pods of the Dream's Oceaneers Club. Though upgrades wont be limited to those. Also coming is Vanellope's Sweets & Treats, which will serve gelleto, ice cream and other treats in a Sugar Rush theme setting. It will be replacing the arcade, which I assume they figure will be covered by The Infinity section.
Making it's way from the Disney Fantasy will be the Bibbidi Bobbity Boutique, providing princess and knight makeovers as well as Pirate League Pirate (for Pirate Sailings). Another area coming that's already on the Fantasy is Satellite Falls. This is a circular splash pool for adults, assuming they can be pried away from supervising their children on the Falcon.
The Dream is scheduled to return to operation after dry dock on October 26.
